Business Analyst

Hybrid Working

What will you be doing?

• Investigating, analysing, visualising, articulating, and solving problems and concepts
• Understanding and articulating the business requirements as well as the technical delivery
• Generating user stories whilst documenting functional and non-functional requirements
• Translating and presenting technology issues or scenarios to non-technologists both verbally and written
• Using technical knowledge and prior experience to devise new and creative solutions to technical and operational issues in order to mitigate customer and operational impact
• Working collaboratively with others, achieving a greater contribution by working together rather than alone
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders through clear and regular communication of mutual needs and commitments

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience of business analysis
• Experience in documenting functional and non-functional requirements and user stories
• Knowledge of Gherkin syntax, flow diagrams and other methods and tools, or the desire to learn
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate and present technology issues

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Experience as a Business analysis of technology and operational change delivery
• Business analysis certification (BCS or other); knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
• Proven ability to deliver to timescales and deadlines
• Experience working within an SDLC and Agile project environment

Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
