As Barclays content production executive you will lead the support of the ongoing development and proactive enhancement of the BUK suite of websites, production supports a range of Marketing and Digital stakeholders across Barclays in making sure the sites are up to date and fulfil regulatory requirements. In your new team you will build, test, publish and maintain semantically structured content that delivers customer-centred solutions in line with an Omni channel content strategy.

Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?

  • Uploading editorial, research, product, and marketing campaign content to the relevant websites using various web Content Management Systems and AEM in particular
  • You will be in charge of content change -range in size from regular, small editorial changes to large scale projects involving the migration and development of entire sites
  • Managing the web content changes processes and the demand requests submitted through these to ensure that all changes meet brief and stakeholder requirements
  • Ensuring that all our customer journeys match our content strategy and customer experience principles
  • Challenging briefs that priorities business needs over customer experience and work with stakeholders to provide superior solutions
  • Maintaining a high customer focus and be aware of the competitive market and trends within the marketplace
  • Ensuring appropriate and accurate application of brand guidelines and appropriate use of templates and design frameworks
  • You will know and understand the KPIs and metrics for marcomms and our content strategy principles, use this deep understanding when building content

What We’re Looking For

  • Subject knowledge: Excellent experience and significant knowledge of all elements of content management
  • Influencing skills: Intermediate experience in advocating the use of content management as a UX discipline
  • A knowledge of HTML and basic CSS
  • A focus on what is best for the online customer
