Birmingham Audit is a forward thinking, high performing, modern internal audit service. Working in this exciting environment you will use your skills and knowledge to undertake a range of audit assignments.

You will also use your knowledge and professional experience to provide support for counter fraud activities and special investigation work and in driving forward innovative solutions to help maximise the effectiveness of the internal audit service.

By establishing great professional relationships, you will become a trusted advisor helping to secure compliance with legislation and governance processes. You will encourage managers to be open minded and aware of risks. You will be motivated, passionate, and ready for the opportunities and challenges of the day ahead.

You will be CISA / CIA (or equivalent) qualified and know about local government auditing, IT risks and controls, relevant legislation, business processes, and governance. Along with this expertise, you will have strong communication skills, including negotiation, coaching, and understand the importance of constructive feedback.
