BAME Mens’ Service Delivery Manager
Full-time 37.5 hours
£24, 491 – £27, 041 per annum
6 month FTC with possible 1 year extension subject to funding.

Sharing Voices Bradford (SVB) is an award-winning community development mental health charity. We work with people from Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) and White marginalised communities living with mental distress to enable recovery and facilitate the development of appropriate and responsive mental health services.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of impactful mental health service delivery who has an in-depth understanding of BAME mental health issues in Bradford. You will be responsible for managing your community development work streams to ensure delivery of the outputs as well as ensuring that you are influencing the key policy and service delivery forums relevant to your role.

Knowledge and experience of working with local communities in the city is a must as well as experience of working with and building strong partnerships with all mental health stakeholders in particular mental health providers, BDCT and commissioning bodies. You will be required to have the skills to analyse and present data in relation to your work stream. Part of your role will require you to be involved in influencing policy changes within the voluntary sector.

You will be expected to have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of key developments, research, and findings in relation to your work stream as well as a detailed understanding of the mental health service landscape across the district.

You will support CPD for mental health practitioners and will work with the management team to support the overall strategic objectives of SVB.

The post is a fixed term contract and will be reviewed on a consistent basis.
