As a DR to the Desk Sales Manager of the Northern Ireland CPS team this role is responsible for providing in-life customer support and straightforward cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

This role is responsible for managing customer relationships from a desk-based environment, managing a range of customers usually around 100, with targets based on revenue and Sales Order Value gross margin generation.

Customer satisfaction is also a significant factor for your nominated clients, whether working with them singly from the desk, or as part of an overall account team.

What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities:

  • Responsible for delivering against revenue and margin targets either on his/her own, or as part of virtual sales team within a customer base of private sector customers.
  • Responsibility for outbound sales prospecting and opportunities, regular and consistent calling of customers and promotion of BT products and services.
  • Work closely with field sales and specialist teams to deliver opportunities for core BT product lines
  • Accurately forecast business KPI’s to management teams
  • Proactively manage churn risk for core BT products
  • Identify opportunities to sell to new customers

Skills required for the job:

  • Entry field sales role that drives business growth for BT by closing contracts, either as part of an overall account team via recognised hand offs, or closing own contracts where acting as the single point of contact.
  • Recognises and delivers against opportunities for business growth via and multi-channel approach
  • Responsible for delivering against own revenue targets as well as engaging with others/specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary.

Experience you would be expected to have:

  • Relevant experience in Desk-Based selling, and delivering against a multi channel strategy.
  • Professional approach to team and client relationships.
  • Track record of delivering against sales and revenue targets.
  • Good awareness and knowledge of BT portfolio areas.
