Graduate – Service Platforms Business Analyst

You’re not just looking for a career, you’re looking to make a difference.

Millions of people rely on us every day to help them live their lives, power their businesses, and keep their public services running. We connect friends to family, clients to colleagues, people to possibilities. We keep the wheels of business spinning, and the emergency services responding. And we use the power of technology to help solve big challenges, like climate change and cyber security.

From day one, you’ll have a voice at BT Group. You’ll get stuck in to tough challenges, pitch in with ideas, make things happen. You won’t be alone: we’ll be there with help and support, learning and development. You’ll make great friends, discover new talents, and feel part of something exhilarating.

This is your chance to make a real difference to the world. Grab it.

About This Role

In order to succeed, BT must be able to bring innovative new products and services to market faster than our competitors and provide great value for money to our customers. Your role as a business analyst is central to engaging business stakeholders and understanding their needs and expressing these in a simple & unambiguous way so that solutions can be identified and tested.

You will be working in Mobile End-to-End Solutions, and specifically in the Business Analysis and Improvement team (with the opportunity to explore more teams as relevant), and will be surrounded by a network of supportive and experienced analysts. Our Mobile business has a stellar reputation and has won the Root Metrics award for being the UK’s No. 1 Network for 9 years running. You will therefore be involved in delivering cutting edge innovation and working on projects that improve communication and experience for consumers and businesses alike, adding impact to our powerful brand.

You will focus on Mobile Technology data: the tools and systems that we use to run the Mobile Network (EE). You will conduct interviews and workshops in order to gather and validate functional and non-functional requirements. You will also be responsible for updating or highlighting new use cases/user stories as well as documenting processes. You will collaborate with Solution Architects and testing partners to assure the suitability and success of proposed solutions.

As you progress through projects, you will receive coaching and training in Business Analysis tools and techniques.

This job is available in the Networks part of our business and is a non-rotational role.
