As one of our Project Management Professionals, you will support project management using your skills and technical capabilities to define, document and deliver mission-critical projects. Agreeing with customers and suppliers, the approach, plans and performance criteria for delivery. Managing costs and resources, handling issues and identifying and escalating risks to ensure project objectives are met.

You’ll Have The Following Responsibilities

  • You will be a collaborative partner, creating and maintaining effective working relationships between team members, customers, suppliers and partners.
  • You will define, document and execute mission-critical projects and work packages.
  • You will be responsible for managing the project lifcycle, producing and managing plans, quality and performance criteria with business stakeholders.
  • You will successfully deliver projects within agreed budgets, timescales, resources and compliance to terms & conditions of contracts
  • You will pro-actively identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Ensure your projects are formally closed, reviewing project performance to identify and recommend potential areas of improvement for future projects

You’ll have the following skills or experience:

  • Possess a recognised formal qualification in Project Management.
  • Be agile, using your knowledge to collaborate with peers across the business.
  • Use Data Analytics – using your knowledge of data and its presentations to help colleagues make decisions.
  • Be able to develop plans or business cases and define timescales and resource needs to deliver programmes.
  • Demonstrate a compelling rationale while explaining ideas or win support, resolve issues and influences people considering multiple points of view.
  • Have a proven track record of establishing and running effective project governance, leading teams through periods of pressure.
  • Have tackled process or policy obstacles to delivery, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Be driven to expand your knowledge and experience, and to develop the capabilities of those in your immediate and extended teams.

You might even:

  • Have experience working with Agile Project Management Methodologies
  • Have knowledge of Security solutions or delivered a security project

Additional

Security Clearance: The nature of our work means you will be expected to obtain and maintain a DV clearance, so if you don’t currently have one, we will need to undertake pre security checks before starting the role with us. Once you have obtained DV, you will be eligible for an additional £5k annual payment.

  • Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.
