Few organisations in the world have the scope, complexity and scale of opportunity as BT do. That’s a grand statement, but it’s so true.

At the heart of our people strategy, is to build the careers, capabilities and skills to transform the world of digital communication… So that we see a connected, diverse, digitally-enabled workforce, delivering today and prepared for tomorrow.

Corporate Functions help deliver our strategy and growth plans. We shape and steer the direction of the business by managing our people, finances, shared services and buildings. We also oversee our legal, regulatory and compliance obligations too.

The primary role of the Business Project Manager is to manage the delivery of Talent Development systems within BT’s HR Transformation Programme. The new solution is based on SAP’s SuccessFactors SaaS solution and builds upon the SAP Learning Management System which was deployed last year. As the Business Project Manager for this area, you will manage the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Succession Planning, Performance and Goals and Career Development Planning modules and a third party Learning Experience Platform, working closely with the Talent Development Portfolio Product Owner. You will be responsible for project managing the delivery of these and associated business processes and change management activities within the HR Transformation Programme to ensure that the new solution and services are delivered on time, within budget and that the business objectives are met and the business benefits are delivered.

As a Business Project manager, you will be accountable for leading projects that are large, and complex and represent significant benefits and risks to BT within a complex stakeholder environment. The solutions and services that you deliver will transform the experience of HR for colleagues across the globe.

You will be directly engaging with senior leaders within HR (e.g. HR Transformation Director and Learning Director) and will be expected to ensure that your team confirms to PMO standards and tools.
