About This Role

You will support, operate and evolve BT’s identity platforms to deliver identity and access related utility services and data to the business and will do this in accordance with applicable IT and financial audit compliance requirements, for instance those stipulated by SOx-ICOFR. The business use these utility services and data to run their business processes and remain compliant with respect to access management.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for leading key operational areas
  • Accountable for onboarding new applications, including those are in-scope for Sox-ICOFR accountability
  • Accountable for operating Sox-ICOFR controls in accordance with agreed RACM’s
  • Accountable for the production and ownership of technical and process documentation
  • Accountable for the continuous improvement of identity services, and on occasion other business areas identified by your line
  • Leadership on championing the customer: Taking ownership of customer requirements (including issues) and working with the customer and the wider team to progress these requirements to a satisfactory conclusion that meets or exceeds customers expectation

Skills

  • Broad Technical skills in relevant Identity technologies
  • Broad Technical skills in datacentre technologies and tools, including Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows server
  • Very good interpersonal and customer management skills
  • Deploying and deploying Identity related technologies, e.g. Oracle Identity Manager; Oracle Unified Directory; Active Directory
  • Deploying and deploying Data-centre related technologies, e.g. Oracle Database, Microsoft Windows SQL Database, Linux Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Server Hardware
  • Operating audit related controls, e.g. Sox-ICOFR – mandatory
  • A degree or equivalent – preferred
  • Understanding of relevant IT standards (see experience for more details)
  • Applying IT standards, e.g. Continuous Improvement, ITIL framework, IT General Controls – preferred
  • Scripting languages, e.g. SQL, Powershell, Perl, etc.
