In addition, this role will provide resilience and support to the Senior Manager for Security Liaison and Industry Collaboration, working on the current Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 Programme within BT, working with industry partners, NCSC, DCMS and Ofcom to bring the new regime to life and support the BT journey to compliance within a centralised knowledge role.

  • You will work cross-functionally to agree which resources attend which meetings and with what objective, delivering positive outcomes to BT as a result.
  • You will work with the wider Standards co-ordinating group to ensure that centralised funding and support is available and that processes for approval of such funding are followed correctly.
  • Support the wider business through liaison with the Knowledge Manager role to ensure that future direction is visible to the wider function/business
  • Provide resilience and support to the Senior Manager for Security Liaison & Industry Collaboration on matters pertaining to the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 and its implications to BT – this could involve shaping future industry direction, liaison with NCSC, DCMS or Ofcom or internal programme matters.
