You’re not just looking for a career, you’re looking to make a difference.

Millions of people rely on us every day to help them live their lives, power their businesses, and keep their public services running. We connect friends to family, clients to colleagues, people to possibilities. We keep the wheels of business spinning, and the emergency services responding. And we use the power of technology to help solve big challenges, cyber security being one amongst many.

From day one, you’ll have a voice at BT Group. You’ll get stuck in to tough challenges, pitch in with ideas, make things happen. You won’t be alone: we’ll be there with help and support, learning and development. You’ll make great friends, discover new talents, and feel part of something exhilarating.

This is your chance to make a real difference to the world. Grab it.

About The Role.

Security is one of the fastest growing parts of our global organisation. ‘We are the Protectors’ of our networks from more than 6,500 cyber-attacks each day, investing over £60m in research and employing nearly 3,000 people every year.

We’re the most significant private cyber employer in the UK, but with the accelerated threats to our business and our customers worldwide, we recognise that Cyber Security needs to invest in new and dynamic leadership potential like never before.

During this exciting new graduate programme within Security, our 2-year graduate rotational programme will give you exposure to different areas of our security business, exploring the diversity of the threat landscape and managing our business and our customers.

You won’t be alone in this journey; you’ll have personal mentoring and development input from our senior leaders and our executive team, so you’ll confidently be able to make decisions on your own, and lead and solve some of the biggest cyber security threats out there.

When the programme finishes, we’ll expect you to move into a management role and be well on your way to a bright future at BT Group. Becoming a leader means you not only have the technical ability and the skills to understand future threat trends and solutions; you will also have commercial awareness, strategic vision and the soft skills to collaborate, lead and inspire others.

We are looking for career-driven individuals who are excited about the future of cyber security and the impact you can make on our business. You’ll need a good degree in a STEM-related subject and must be able to demonstrate leadership potential either through your academic studies or extra-curricular activities. We are particularly keen to encourage applications from women and ethnic minority groups as they are currently under-represented in our leadership team.

Duration

Two-Year Graduate Rotational Programme

You also must hold a valid UK Passport and have lived for a minimum of 10 years in the UK.
