This ideal environment is only possible when all staff, both teaching and associate work closely together to ensure the academy aims are at the forefront of everything we do.

The Finance Team at Moor End is a crucial part of the Academy. Within the team we have individuals with varied skill sets and experience to ensure the wide range of tasks required to support our teaching staff and associate staff are carried out effectively and efficiently.

The Finance staff pride themselves on the work they carry out and understand how everything they do contributes to students achieving their potential. Not only do they support our teaching staff but also support the wider team in Business Support, Data Manager, Exams Manager, Main Office, and our partnering school Park Lane academy ensuring the school operates as smoothly as possible. The Finance Manager works closely with the Finance Director and the Trust team and also is the finance lead for Park Lane academy.

Each and every role is essential in supporting our teaching staff and ensuring they are able to concentrate on the most important job of all – teaching our students.

We are currently seeking a highly effective Finance Manager to join this exciting team. The finance manager works on the strategic side of finance and requires a strong work ethic and the ability to manage deadlines from the school principal and finance director. The role is required over 2 schools and will require some travelling to Park Lane academy. The finance manager manages the finance officers and Senior finance officer at both schools. The role will suit a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail.
