Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Legal team members on instructing and monitoring UK visa applications;
  • Work with Legal team members to enable the global mobility internal policy application; supporting on global immigration requirements and liaising with relevant external third parties on our behalf.
  • Actively manage the corporate and co sec structure relating to each of the wholly owned Markets (US, U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Germany, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Mexico).
  • Ensure appropriate filings are made and that processes are in place to oversee this in all markets.
  • Ensure the maintenance of an accurate set of Conde Nast specific corporate and company secretarial records, working closely with relevant Conde Nast Legal and Finance personnel and Advance; our parent Company.
  • Support any changes to company Directors or corporate governance arising from the integration process.
  • Work closely with Employment and Compliance team on compliance issues relating to our UK visa sponsorship licence, including but not limited to record keeping, and reporting changes alongside our external partner.

Job Requirements:

  • Interest and preferentially experience of advising or managing immigration matters;
  • Interest in legal and policy matters, as well as passionate about the media industry;
  • Personable approach with strong relationship and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong desire to learn new subject matter and skills;
  • Confident and enthusiastic individual with a work hard ethic.
  • Self starter who welcomes the opportunity presented by being the first holder of this role;
  • Ability to organise and prioritise effectively, with good attention to detail;
  • Ability to learn fast;
  • Paralegal or Legally qualified in the UK would be preferred, but as a minimum, have a degree (in any subject) or equivalent, such as a level 6 or 7 apprenticeship or a level 6 or 7 professional qualification. We encourage applications from all educational backgrounds and regional locations;
