We’re looking for a finance administrator to join our finance operations team within Co-op Legal Services.

This team is responsible for the processing and safeguarding of all client money and other financial transactions into and out of the business, as well as making sure that Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRAs) are adhered to. We’ll look to you to complete financial case transactions, ensuring agreed service levels are met in a highly regulated environment. This an exciting opportunity to gain valuable exposure across all our practice areas, developing a breath of knowledge within finance operations.

What you’ll do

  • process various payments including Daily BACS, CHAPS and Cheque payments and coordinate transfers between accounts
  • action payment of disbursements from the office account and review and allocate incoming client funds
  • take ownership of the daily banking and billing with efficiency
  • make sure all transactions are processed accurately in accordance with SRA Account Rules.
  • answer queries from case handlers via a shared inbox

This role would suit people who have

  • a strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise your work
  • basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • the ability to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and work well as part of a team
  • a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to change
