The EMEA Research Center is responsible for driving the most strategic thought leadership targeted to our most important audiences: European, Middle Eastern and African CXOs and board-level executives. The EMEA Research Center is made up of researchers, production and editorial managers as well as marketers that provide a European voice into the Deloitte’s global insights and create new thought leadership based on the market priorities of Deloitte Continental Europe (DCE), North South Europe (NSE) and Deloitte Spain. This role is pivotal in ensuring clear and consistent communication within Deloitte’s regional network of Member Firms and globally across Deloitte Insights, Clients & Industries and the wider research community.

Your role

Responsibilities:

  • Help support the development of a regional thought leadership strategy and implement initiatives in support of its overall direction
  • Support relationships and coordination between the EMEA Research Centre, our regional Member Firms and local geographies (i.e. an ability to build, expand and keep internal networks active and engaged)
  • Focus on sharing ideas and resources across the EMEA region
  • Manage accurate visibility into upcoming thought leadership pipeline through management of the Deloitte Thought Leadership Registry in coordination with regional and USI support
  • Support monthly reporting dashboard and metrics for a range of stakeholders including Clients & Industries leadership, Member Firm leadership, and local geography marketers
  • Contribute to Deloitte Insights strategic initiatives to deliver on leadership priorities and programme objectives, such as thought leadership transformation, Global Signature Issues, organisational models, and drive D.com/DI website integration
  • Support monthly budget reporting, working in collaboration with local and regional Finance stakeholders.
  • Support coordination with regional, Member Firm, and business industry teams to support thought leadership development, strategic priority identification, and pipeline development
  • Provide ongoing support for Deloitte Insights and Clients and Industries leadership on strategic projects and ad hoc request

Location: The role is focused on and based in NSE, with the team headquartered in London and currently employing a hybrid model of working virtually and in the office.

Your professional experience

  • Significant experience in one or more of the following: consulting, thought leadership, research and insights, marketing, strategic initiatives, publishing
  • Flexible style to work with diverse network of stakeholders to secure support and relevant inputs, with good influencings skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills; ability to work independently and on multiple assignments while maintaining top quality deliverables
  • Ability to prepare executive ready materials that “tell-the-story” succinctly with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong attention to detail and best in class deliverables
  • Ability to analyse and connect data sets and draw insights
  • Ability to navigate a global, matrixed, and mostly virtual environment for effective outcomes
  • Travel may be required on an as needed basis (<10%)

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
