Your role

As a product designer, you will work on projects from the end to end across research, user testing, wireframing and prototyping, with the key focus on providing elegant, easy-to-use designs to be implemented with the product team.

You will also:

  • Work alongside a great team of Product Managers, Delivery Managers and engineers to design solutions to complex problems.
  • Be used to sharing and collaborating on your thinking with team members to ensure your work is robust and effective.
  • Be a creative and high energy person who can generate own ideas, contribute and promote on-going enhancements of the design methodologies.
  • Be confident in balancing trade-offs between being pragmatic and visionary with design implementation.
  • Be comfortable of using design system and UI libraries, making sure the design of your area compliments a cohesive overall Deloitte experience.
  • Enjoy designing, testing and validating solutions to benefit the clients with the best possible product experience.

Location: This role will be based in London, with minimal travel commitments

Your professional experience

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience of working in a product design role with an associated portfolio of work
  • Good industry knowledge and an interest in product design
  • Experience working on a digital product at scale, with both engineers and product/project managers
  • A clear understanding of how research, testing and data analytics works with the design process
  • Advanced skills in industry-leading design and prototyping software
  • Experience working in Lean, Agile or matrix organisations
  • Highly creative and innovative approach
  • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience working in a commercial software environment
  • Expert user of a wide range of digital tools for conceptualising, designing and prototyping e.g. Figma, Miro etc…
  • Experience working on design systems

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your “Immediate Family Members” are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
