Your role

You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions for iconic brands.

As an experienced MarTech Technical Lead, you will be responsible for helping with the design and delivering modern digital solutions leveraging leading marketing technologies for our clients. You will assist the MarTech Solution Architect in creating an end-state architecture, defining a roadmap to achieve the end-state. You will be working hands on with the delivery teams to ensure the MarTech solution being delivered meets the proposed architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design and input into an end-state marketing platform architecture that meets the desired needs owned by the architecture team
  • Have working experience of implementations that includes application development & integration, cloud native development, mobile-first principles, quality-focused values and customer-centric experiences
  • Assist in developing a view of various architecture domains covering applications, information, security and infrastructure working with other specialists
  • Working closely with the architecture team to translate architecture artefacts in to work packages for your delivery teams to deliver through the delivery lifecycle
  • Participate in various governance forums to help get approval for the architecture artefacts and also present possible options to resolve any ongoing architecture challenges
  • Identify and raise risks and issues related to architecture to the architecture team as identified during delivery to resolve them in-time without impacting delivery schedule
  • Provide technical leadership alongside the architects to development teams through application development and regular design sessions and other quality assurance activities under the guidance of the architecture team
  • Actively participate and contribute to the Architecture Guild, building and growing as a team from shared experiences
  • Actively ensure delivery teams follow best practice and standards as set by the architecture team
  • Ongoing reviews of deliverables by the development teams to ensure strict adherence to agreed standards and practices and alignment to defined architectures
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Your professional experience

Overall, you’re an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer that’s important. Essential

  • Architecture knowledge and Design experience across a range of leading platforms in the CMS, DAM, Analytics, and Personalisation space (such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing, SiteCore)
  • Understanding of DevOps processes facilitating Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines, using the latest technologies
  • High-level understanding of eCommerce and CRM platforms within a MarTech architecture
  • Experience in designing and delivering services using modern architecture patterns e.g. microservices, RESTful APIs
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, using agile delivery methods and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of client facing roles where you have built relationships with stakeholders, conducted workshops, presented and have the ability to influence others through persuasive communication
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team, with a sharp focus on continuous improvement
