Your role

You will be joining the senior leadership team of Data Risk & Analytics practice focusing on the ER&I sector. To drive this capability, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Manager who will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and building client relationships at a senior level leading to additional project opportunities.
  • Leading a team of colleagues to successfully deliver Data Risk & Analytics projects within the ER&I sector, with responsibility for day-to-day delivery and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Developing and mentoring team members through formal training, on-the-job learning and coaching in respect to both sector knowledge and your technical skills (aligned to one of our guilds: Data & Software Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, AI & Automation.
  • Strengthening and broadening the ER&I proposition and capability within Deloitte and showcasing our work with clients.
  • Bringing technical and practical insight to how clients might manage data more effectively to drive opportunities and manage risk across their business.
  • Supporting in building awareness across the ER&I Sector organisations to ensure our clients understand how we can help them through formal and informal eminence activity.

Location: Your home office will be London or Manchester, but this client-facing role provides lots of opportunity for travel in the UK and overseas.

Your professional experience

Essential

  • Professional experience in one or more elements of the Energy, Resources and Industrials sector or an industry with strong transferrable experience.
  • Experience within a data related discipline, e.g. Data & Software Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, AI & Automation.
  • The ability to manage a strong industry/business network, identify and convert sales opportunities and lead the sales process.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects in environments that have a high degree of uncertainty.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients
  • Strong planning, organization and people management skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of / experience of working with data and analytical solutions in regards to ESG measurement and reporting
  • Degree educated or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Financial Risk Management qualified)
  • A wide-ranging professional network within the Energy, Resources, & Industrials Sector.
  • A track record in strengthening existing & developing new client relationships.
  • A track record in direct client interaction (internal or external).
  • Professional services experience an advantage.

Personal independence
