About the job

Your opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Deloitte’s Associate Resourcing team, sourcing world-class contingent labour for the firm. The Associate Resourcing team is responsible for recruitment and management of contractors (known as Associates) to enable the firm to fulfil both internal and external client requirements using a more agile resourcing model.

The demand from the business for Associates is increasing, so the Associate Resourcing team is growing and reshaping to ensure we deliver world class contingent labour.

Are you looking to return to the workplace after an extended career break?

For this role we can offer coaching and support designed for returners to refresh your knowledge and skills and help your transition back into the workplace after a career break of 2 years or more. If this is relevant for you, just let your recruiter know when you make your application.

Your role

You will be an instrumental part of the Associate Resourcing team – the Associate Resourcing Advisor’s role is to deliver resourcing solutions and manage contingent talent as part of the Deloitte Associate programme, which is our internal capability that delivers world-class contingent labour to our business in the UK.

Reporting to the Associate Resourcing Manager, this role is aligned to specific skill sets, to fulfil requisitions and requests from the business for contingent labour, ensuring the most appropriate sourcing strategy is chosen to meet the business need. You will act as the key point of contact for hiring managers seeking to hire Associates in your assigned skills area. You will work with the Associate Talent Engagement team to identify appropriate candidates, leveraging known Associates, direct sourcing capabilities and preferred suppliers to fill identified contingent roles.

Responsibilities

  • Timely fulfilment of requisitions and requests from the business from briefing stage through to onboarding, working closely with our onshore/offshore/outsourced delivery teams
  • Effectively triage requisitions to Talent Community Advisors or Supplier Engagement Advisors where it is felt 3rd party suppliers are required
  • Seek and monitor performance feedback to ensure the quality of the Associate experience
  • Build strong relationships with wider resourcing COE teams to support adoption of the Associate programme and contribute to firmwide resourcing initiatives as required

Your work, your choice

At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.

Location: Location is flexible, however there would be a requirement for the role holder to travel to London or Leeds when required.

Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity and can be worked on a full-time basis.

Flexible working: We are proud to offer flexible working arrangements which allow our people to choose the most suitable working arrangement that works for them. Whether this is working 4 days per week, taking the summer months off work, or more flexibility around your working pattern, we consider both formal and informal working arrangements that allow our people and our clients the best outcome. If you would like to hear more about our flexible working arrangements, please let us know.

Your professional experience

  • Proven experience within contingent recruitment role, working in a complex, matrix environment with cross functional teams

With our combined specialist skills, we provide all the essential support and advice our client-facing colleagues need, right across the firm. This enables them to focus all of their efforts on delivering the best service possible to their clients. Covering seven distinct areas; Human Resources, Clients & Industries, Finance & Legal, Practice Support Services, Quality & Risk Services, IT Services, and Workplace Services & Real Estate, together we live, breathe and deliver the Deloitte experience.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your “Immediate Family Members” are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.
