Salary details: Grade 6 £20,035 – £20,843 (pay award pending)

Contract Type: Permanent – Full-time 37 Hours Per Week

These roles involve working as part of the Business Support Service based within the Learning & Opportunities: Children & Young People Directorate. To provide and deliver comprehensive technical business support functions specific to the area of deployment and demonstrate knowledge of legislation and guidance relevant to the area of deployment.

To provide effective, professional, high quality, modern and solution focused Business Support for the Directorate and work together with the wider Business Support and Development Service as one unified Service to continually improve the efficiency and quality of the services provided.

We will be following the hybrid working policy with a blend of working in the office and from home.

These posts will be undertaking business support duties mainly within our Commissioning and Executive Teams. The ideal candidate will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy office, be well-organised and flexible, and have excellent customer service skills and experience of working to conflicting deadlines. We are looking for hardworking and conscientious people to work in a busy environment, providing an essential and valuable service to our customers.

The ideal candidates will have extensive experience of Microsoft Excel, databases, finance and diary management skills plus experience of taking minutes at meetings.
