Grade 9 (£33,513 – £37,588) pay award pending

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37 Hours per week

The Demands and developments on Doncaster’s highway network present interesting and varied traffic engineering challenges. We are currently recruiting for an engineer to work within a small team working hard to successfully deliver a full range of highway regulation and traffic management services.

You will predominantly be undertaking the investigation and design of permanent traffic management solutions, including road signs and markings, minor highway improvements, on-street parking management, Traffic Regulation Orders and dealing with enquiries; alongside assisting with some of the Borough’s more significant highways projects and developments.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, computer skills (including CAD) and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Knowledge and experience of relevant regulations, legislation, design standards and guidance is required, alongside ideally a Level 4 qualification in an appropriate technical field.
