Job Description

Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting a Linehaul Compliance Clerk, to help strengthen our compliance team within our ever growing Linehaul operation team.

In this role you will support the Compliance Controllers in monitoring the legal compliance for all of the department’s and the agency HGV Drivers, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies. Our Linehaul operation runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so because of this this role will require you to work nights, typically starting between 18.00 and 19.00, at our Oldbury site.

Other key focuses will be;

• Investigate, record and resolve missing mileage to ensure Linehaul hit company required compliance targets
• Complete licence disclaimer checks, Time right and Lead in checks for both employed and agency drivers as directed and required
• Working with the Traffic teams to ensure tasks such as required driver envelopes are received and all documentation is completed and correct.
• Identify trends and highlight these to relevant managers within the Linehaul operation.

Qualifications

What we are looking for;

• Have some understanding of Tachomaster, associated systems and be able to generate required reports.
• Previous knowledge of Transport Compliance would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
• A high standard of computer literacy with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work
• Proven and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment
• A self motivated and organised individual.

Additional Information

Job Specifics

You will have a thorough induction to the Linehaul operation as well as a comprehensive induction to DPD.

This role will require you to work 18.30-03.00 on nights however some flexibility may be required due to the nature of our operation.
