Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in client facing work
  • Experience with mobile or web technologies, product strategy, and business models
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product teams to launch technical partner integrations and/or go-to-market strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile ads/adtech/app ecosystem
  • Experience with thought leadership in partnerships, business development, product management, marketing, or general management
  • Experience working with highly technical teams and the ability to embrace technical concepts
  • Ability to speak and write in German or French fluently

About The Job

The Privacy and Chrome Partnerships team is a partner center of excellence for emerging privacy initiatives across Chrome and Android. The team also advances high quality, trusted open web experiences and drives distribution and adoption of Chrome, including browser features. The work includes supporting partners through the process of evaluating and implementing new privacy and web APIs, communicating ecosystem use cases and insights to product teams, and advancing ecosystem understanding and trust.

Privacy and Chrome Partnerships is a part of the Platforms and Ecosystem Partnerships (P&E) organization, covering Android, Play, Chrome, and Chrome OS partnerships.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will work with Chrome and Android partners to test and implement new privacy-preserving APIs across a number of use cases including advertising, marketing, fraud detection, federated identity, payments, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive partnership engagement strategies to help them implement new privacy capabilities.
  • Drive and execute EMEA go-to-market plans, with a focus on Android Privacy.
  • Collaborate internally with global peers, other partnership teams and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Developer Relations, Public Relations, and Marketing).
  • Secure partner demonstrations, quotes, case studies, and on-stage presence at events (e.g., Google I/O, Chrome Developer Summit, Android Developer Summit) to showcase successful privacy implementations and inspire other developers.
