Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience delivering solutions for a variety of enterprise and consumer applications and platforms
  • Ability to use knowledge to enable ideation and development of creative and innovative solutions
  • Ability to connect insights to brand, technical requirements, and product vision and strategy
  • Interest in product innovation and the ability to connect research findings with new product proposals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to distill findings into concise insights to engage and excite stakeholders

About The Job

In this role, you will play a strategic part in driving product vision for Google Merchant Platform, inviting merchants of all sizes into the Google Shopping ecosystem. You will use consumer understanding to inform positive enterprise experiences to create simple merchant touch points that enable real-time signup, product listing, content sharing, transactions, and connections with users in a way that meets merchants where they are. You will build and lead the user experience team in the EMEA region, consisting of UX managers, interaction designers, content strategists, and UX engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and build the UX vision for an integrated collection of product experiences that power the Google Merchant platform.
  • Identify and set product strategy in partnership with product and engineering, making complex UX ecosystems simple.
  • Create and articulate a clear vision of the future for user experience.
  • Establish cross-functional and cross-product relationships to build empathy and support product roadmap through planning, design, testing, iterations, and launch.
