Here at our Greggs Enfield Supply site, the future home of our delicious Pizzas, we have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to join our very friendly team working Monday – Friday day shift.

Pay rates

Circa £32,000 based on experience

Shift pattern

Hours:40 hours per week

Shifts: As Facilities Engineer you will work Monday-Friday day shift, and one Saturday every 4 weeks

Contract: Permanent

What you’ll do

  • Safety, Health, Environment & Food Safety: Adhere to all safe working practices and safety related documentation & Food Safety requirements (e.g. Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Isolation & Lock-out, Permits To Work, PPE, Plant Release Procedures, etc.)
  • Upkeep of Site Standards: Supports delivery of Supply Chain Maintenance Strategy though effective & efficient completion of work requests, supporting the Maintenance department where required, correct use of Engineering stores, in line with work plans developed by Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.
  • Personal Development: Proactively seeks to develop new and existing skills in line with the Supply Chain Maintenance Strategy and relevant skills matrices
  • Effective Communication: Build strong relationships with all key parties, including Manager, Engineering team and other departments

About you

  • Experience of building maintenance and site facilities duties is essential
  • NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds eg. plumbing, electrical, building services is essential
    • Trained to the latest edition IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) is desirable
    • Electrical Engineers will be expected to update training to latest edition IET Regulations
    • May require additional specific training in order to move into other roles
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management
  • Good understanding of Safety Health and Environmental responsibilities
  • Confident and enthusiastic
  • Willing to undertake further training
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to meet shift requirements
  • Customer focused
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) or similar is desirable
