About This Role And Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a knowledgeable Collections Manager, with broad experience covering collections care, documentation, storage, transportation, and digitisation, to join our friendly and collaborative Collections team.

The Collections Manager is responsible for planning the conservation and care of the RA’s collections, which span painting, sculpture, works on paper, film, archive and library and in doing so will look after conservation management, planning, ensuring the safe storage of art works, managing transportation and planning installation and administration plus much more.

This role will manage a range of collection administration so our ideal candidate will be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail. You will be a natural communicator, as this role collaborates with stakeholders across the department, RA and externally, and also be proactive and use your initiative to suggest improvements where you see fit.
