Part time – 3 or 4 days per week. (can be set days or self managed flexible throughout the week.

Remote apart from attendance at the monthly board meeting in central London.

An independent body set up to ensure various regulatory bodies are independent, properly funded and transparent. As Administration Manager you will be supporting the CEO and 4 board members with all governance matters as well as acting as the board secretary.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the administration of the Board and its sub committees is planned and managed
  • Ensure Board meetings decisions and discussions are minuted accurately
  • Ensure agendas for meetings are agreed and papers commissioned in a timely manner and papers are drafted to a high standard
  • Manage the preparation and laying of the Annual Report
  • Coordinate the appointment and re-appointment of Board members in accordance with the arrangements set out in the Royal Charter
  • Making arrangements for the annual Board evaluation exercise
  • Carry out administration of the office, specifically as the contact point with all outsourced services
  • Organising events

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Solid experience of Board and/or committee secretariat duties
  • Good understanding of legal requirements and best practice in corporate governance
  • Good understanding of principles of information assurance and data protection
  • An understanding of CSR issues desirable

The ideal candidate will be someone with highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently and on a self sufficient basis. You will be a highly organised individual with an unquestionable commitment to maintaining confidentiality along with excellent attention to detail and excellent drafting and proof reading abilities.
