PROSPECTUS

Our client, a college of the University of London and the UK’s leading academic research centre are currently looking to recruit a temporary MSc Course Administrator to provide high quality administrative support for the MSc course. This post is full time and looking to run for 3-4 months, and could lead to a permanent post for the right candidate. This role will be mainly be based in Chelsea, although flexibility will also be required to work from the other site in Barbican. There will be an option for hybrid working, at a later time when confident in the post, although will start off working onsite. Responsibilities will involve data and course management, assessments including admissions and enrolment as well as student administration.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Course Administrator to join the dedicated MSc Team, you will be experienced in providing high quality administrative support and be responsible for dealing with the day to day management of student data. You will have advanced office skills and be at intermediate/advanced level for Excel. Knowledge of student databases would be highly desirable as well as previous experience using the virtual learning environment, ideally Canvas or Moodle, which could be as a student.

In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a similar organisation in the wider not for profit sector, working in a fast-paced administrative post. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will be organised, capable of managing and prioritising a varied workload, work well under pressure and demonstrate a flexible attitude to work. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the higher education sector, who has transferable experience.
