New Production Editor position with a leading international membership organisation with over 200 years’ experience in their field, who encourage innovation and excellence in the profession. They are a registered UK charity and organisation that promote and advance civil engineering and construction around the world.
As Production Editor you will project manage the delivery of industry specialist products and services. To include a variety of books, reprints, and electronic products, ensuring material is produced in a cost efficient, timely manner to optimum quality standards.
The team work collaboratively and have a great working culture. They offer a flexible hybrid structure with 1-2 days a week in their central London offices.
Offering competitive salary of £30K DOE
Required experience:
Experience working in a book production department of an STM publisher Supervision and briefing of suppliers and freelancers Copyediting and proofreading material Reviewing material for any quality, legal or technical issues Quality checking and ensuring suitability of electronic files throughout production Costing projects and budget management Creation and management of production schedules Up-to-date knowledge of production process and advancing production technologies Benefits to include:
