About The Team

The Risk Analytics Solution Hub has specific responsibility for developing and driving the use of market-leading analytical solutions to support Risk practitioners and their clients, throughout the project lifecycle from proposition and product development to practitioner support and Execution Managed Services.

Key areas of focus are core Risk services such as internal audit, governance, risk & compliance, risk modelling, capital markets accounting advisory and structuring, commercial control and capital projects, treasury and commodities, cyber security and technology and data risk. We support all sectors of industry and government and are working to support critical and complex problems in society including ESG and climate risk, supply chain risk, data privacy and ethics and crisis resilience.

The role

The role will require a diverse blend of skills across risk services and data analytics technology solutions. You will report to the Risk Analytics Business Director and your principle accountability will be to identify and design the right analytics solutions to meet our clients’ needs, within identified business units.

As a Risk Analytics Business Unit Demand Generator you will:

• Further the design and execution of the Risk Analytics strategy to develop new, and grow existing, revenue streams across a wide range of client sectors.
• Inspire, engage and collaborate with Risk Business Units digital teams, to identify and design high-value analytics opportunities to be delivered through the Risk Analytics Solutions Hub.
• Liaise across the complex network of stakeholders within Risk Services and ensure that Risk Analytics complements and is additive to broader Risk and Firmwide strategy.
• Lead and own the high-level functional definition, design, implementation and adoption plan for high complexity Risk Analytics solutions, working with your team in the Solutions Hub and Business Units to deliver excellence in solution specification, scalability and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with the Risk Analytics Solutions and Data Architects to identify the most appropriate technologies and services required to deliver solutions.
• Continually work with our delivery centres to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services and products for which you have accountability.
• Work together with the Risk Analytics Business Director and teams across Risk to solve complex technical challenges and ensure successful client outcomes.
• Lead the proposition, demand generation and prioritisation process across multiple business units .
• Use your understanding of risk services, our clients and their markets to identify opportunities and competitive strengths & weaknesses.
• Provide CxO level risk analytics advisory, sales and delivery support, across opportunity identification, solution assessment and integration analysis, implementation and adoption management.
• Participate in the development of the Risk-wide operating model for Risk Analytics demand generation and delivery.
• Ensure the continuous development of Risk colleagues towards self-sufficiency in the ‘best in class’ use of data analytics.
• Represent Risk Analytics across the UK firm, building strong relationships with other client facing and internal teams.
• Establish a personal market presence as a trusted expert in Risk Analytics.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.

Person Specification

• Comprehensive domain knowledge of data analytics methods, technologies and functional solution design either gained or executed in a Risk services environment.
• Passionate about understanding clients’ strategic functional requirements, combined with a technical expertise in high-level data and analytics solution design.
• Experience of managing the solution design for analytics services and products. Your experience will have been gained hands-on throughout the project lifecycle and will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple complex deliveries at the same time across a geographically dispersed delivery model.
• Knowledge of best practice data and solution architecture principles.
• Experience in developing and selling analytics solutions across one or more industry sectors, gained or executed within the consulting market.
• Proven experience of effectively engaging with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong relationship building skills and a dedication to the best levels of client service.
• Commercially astute, with proven ability to identify revenue generating opportunities.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a complex, matrix structured business environment, including near-shore and off-shore teams.
• Meticulous portfolio and project management skills; highly organised and able to lead whilst providing appropriate support and challenge to team members and stakeholders alike.
• Management and coaching of high-performing, technically enthusiastic teams; able to motivate and inspire teams through change and ambiguity.
• Ability to demonstrate agile ways of working and thinking with a strong growth mindset.
• A passion for analytics and a digitally focused mindset.
• A strong aptitude for innovation, creativity and change management.
