ROLE DETAILS
My client is looking for an exceptional client to join their London team as an Account Director / Senior Account Director. The candidate will be specifically focused on the energy/industrials sector. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and will have an international outlook and a flair for growing and maintaining networks, with 5-8 years industry experience most likely gained in a global PR agency/consultancy.

KEY TASKS
>To establish trusted and long-term relationships with clients and networks.
>To work with the management team to devise and implement communications strategies which deliver results and support new client proposals.
>To be accountable for delivery and project management of a number of energy accounts and to help set and deliver strategy.
> To focus mainly on three areas: international media relations, op-ed/TPE content and owned content such as blogs, thought leadership pieces and other social copy
>To provide line management, training, and development of the team and to address team issues as required.
>Some international travel
Skills And Experience
>An international media relations outlook with a network of contacts in the energy sector
>International affairs outlook in the energy sector, preferably from a consultancy
>Excellent interpersonal skills, with an eagerness to develop new networks.
>A background or experience in running digital campaigns would be helpful.
>Experience working in the UAE is desirable
>Language capabilities: a second language (German, French, Spanish or Arabic) would be helpful but is not a requirement.
