What will you be doing?

Working specifically with direct clients, this is a 360 sales role with a focus on building, developing and growing relationships with new and existing clients. Through inside sales and face-to-face meetings, you will look to maximise the revenue growth and retention of your accounts while positioning Gumtree Jobs as their go to destination to find their perfect candidates.

We expect great things of you and will ensure you have all the training and support necessary to achieve them.

What are we looking for?

Almost every job description asks for a can-do attitude, but at Gumtree we ask for more. We want you to be passionate about establishing new commercial relationships that benefit both Gumtree and your clients. We are not interested in transactional deals, we want to achieve transformational, long-term partnerships. We’re also looking for the following attributes:

  • Extensive experience working within the jobs market either for a job board or for an agency
  • The ability to build rapport with customers and various stakeholders across the wider business
  • The ability to identify sales opportunities and cross-sell/upsell these through effective questioning and solution orientated selling
  • A demonstratable history of achieving growth and hitting sales targets
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • To grow and develop relationships with media agencies. existing relationships are highly desirable.
  • Targeting High value clients looking for national recruitment campaigns.
  • Dealing with direct / rec cons and media agencies
  • Creating high value pipeline to meet quarterly targets
  • Clients meetings virtual and face to face if required
  • Management of Key accounts.

As a senior member of the jobs team you will set the standard for the wider team, and be a coach, mentor and trainer to your peers.
