As a UX Researcher, you’ll be a key part of creating an environment of curiosity, meeting and listening to our users, then sharing and democratising access to insights. Your research will help us create experiences that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers.
You’ll be joining a growing Product team, working closely alongside Product Managers and Product Designers, planning and running Evaluative and Generative research projects.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and conducting qualitative studies, including field observations and interviews, and remote and in-person usability studies for existing and future products.
- Designing and conducting quantitative studies, including structuring and analysing surveys to evaluate the impact of product changes and gather insights at scale.
- Adapting and innovating research methods to deliver the actionable insights for the challenges and opportunities.
- Synthesising and communicating research findings to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to develop long-term research plans.
- Assisting Designers in planning Evaluative experiments and research.
- Building empathy and advocacy for our customers and users across the organisation
About You:
- Several years of experience as a UX Researcher working within a Product environment.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Experience conducting UX research for responsive websites and apps at scale
- Experience with Agile methodologies and different measures of product discovery
- You uncover problems and insights. You guide thinking rather than pushing solutions.
- You’re great at collaborating in a remote first environment.
- You seek out the opinions and feedback from others to broaden your mindset. You love collaborating with others and can build alignment towards a combined purpose.
- A great communicator who can articulate their findings in person or in a presentation, bringing the voice of the customer to life through multiple channels.
- You’re resourceful and get things done, balancing work across multiple teams
- Experience in digital media, technology, eCommerce or classifieds preferred
- A sense of fun, operating with humour and a positive demeanour to enthuse and engage people.
