What will you be doing?

The purpose of this 360 sales role is to generate new business leads through a variety of different avenues, identifying the clients’ needs and closing new business deals increasing the volume and quality of Job Advertisements across on Gumtree.com for our users.

This is a 360 sales role with a focus on building, developing and growing relationships with new and existing clients. Through inside sales and face-to-face meetings, you will look to maximise the revenue growth and retention of your accounts while positioning Gumtree Jobs as their go to destination to find their perfect candidates.

You will be:

  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

  • New Business prospecting and daily cold calling.

  • Pitching and presenting to senior decision makers (Managers, Directors & MD’s) over the phone.

  • Keeping up-to-date with changes and upcoming trends in the recruitment industry.

  • Expected to manage your own individual sales pipeline and estimated revenue.

About you:

  • 2-3 years experience working within the recruitment market either for a job board or for an agency.

  • Outbound cold calling experience and a proven pedigree in closing sales.

  • A strong desire to learn and grow as a sales person.

  • The ability to build rapport with customers and various stakeholders across the wider business.

  • A high degree of self-motivation.

  • A strategic sales approach.

  • The ability to identify sales opportunities and cross-sell/upsell these through effective questioning and solution oriented selling.

  • A demonstrable history of achieving growth and hitting sales targets.

As a senior member of the jobs team you will set the standard for the wider team, and be a coach, mentor and trainer to your peers.
