You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team on all types of vehicles and plant, diagnose and repair faults and, as required, participate in the County Council’s emergency and winter maintenance operations.
With a minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role you will, on occasion, deal directly with customers.
A great opportunity to develop your career working in a large public sector organisation, you will gain experience with a wide range of vehicles from cars to minibuses and plant, up to and including LGV and HGV, to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.
- £3,000 annual Market Supplement for Level 3 qualified Technicians, subject to conditions
- £2000 additional annual Market supplement available for those holding an Automotive industry recognised Level 4 Advanced vehicle diagnostics qualification, (Master Technician level), subject to conditions
- £3000 OTE additional earnings during winter season (October to April) subject to standby Rota participation and callouts, subject to conditions
