Diverse perspectives and experiences are critical to our success and we welcome applications from all people from all backgrounds with the experience and skills needed to perform this role.

We operate at the cutting edge of data science and technology, using a wide range of data and analytics approaches and tools to support the strategic objectives of the department and to help solve some of the key challenges, whether that’s ensuring HMRC collects the right taxes; pays out the right financial support; making it easier for our customers to get their taxes right; or supporting wider government economic aims.

Projects, which are undertaken using Agile ways of working, can result in a range of data science products, including tailored interactive dashboards, machine learning models or impactful analysis and insight, all driving increased understanding of our customers and processes, as well as real change within the organisation.
