The role will be primarily focused on supporting the day-to-day running of the recruitment service, acting as a first point of contact for queries, processing new and in-flight campaigns and providing advice to the business around best practice and policy. In doing so, the role will take responsibility for;

  • Managing and resolving queries from external candidates, applicants and hiring managers, escalating complex queries when needed
  • Drafting contracts of employment for HM Treasury Group and distributing in a timely manner
  • Conducting eligibility based sifting for HM Treasury Group campaigns
  • Providing advice regarding recruitment best practice and policy that ensures the team delivers a customer-focused recruitment service
  • Arranging sifting, interviews and offers for in-flight campaigns, engaging with colleagues within the business to coordinate
  • Leading internal audit processes to ensure compliance with internal policy standards and Civil Service Recruitment Principles
  • Maintaining accurate data across the recruitment service for reporting, both within bespoke systems and SharePoint repositories
  • Building effective working relationships with colleagues, both within the service delivery area and wider department
  • Help deliver wider early talent programmes across the team
  • Supporting with ad-hoc requirements including project delivery across the branch
