Job Description:

Large Business Data Analytics works with the bulk data about companies that pay most of the taxes that HMRC collect. That data represents some of the most complex financial and legal structures in the world. If a tax risk exists, it will show up in a Large Business customer first.

Job Responsibilities:

• The challenge is enhanced by our data landscape constantly changing because of a mix of legacy data, adoption of Cloud services and new data driven by domestic and global tax legislation.
• That leads to a uniquely rich and complex set of relational data, as well as a significant volume of unstructured data that HMRC holds about these customers and their affairs.
• Our team are tasked with weaving all of those data threads together so that HMRC can understand the whole picture, rather than looking at one tax at a time, and prioritise those issues that present the largest risk to the Exchequer.
• This is a data challenge like no other in HMRC or Government!
