HSBC Market & Securities Services (MSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services.

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Senior Fund Administrator – Transaction Management

This position sits within the Edinburgh Transaction Management Support team and has oversight for Transaction Management operational teams sited within our GSC locations in Kolkata and Colombo ensuring that the end service delivery to our clients meets the service standards documented within our Service Level Definition.

Transaction Management includes Trade Processing Support, Cash Processing Support and Cash Management Support.

Supporting a global team this client facing position covers the below responsibilities;

  • Act as an escalation point for BAU operational issues raised by Senior Management, Clients and other parties
  • Identify and support resolution of high risk items within set timescales
  • Highlight and discuss all identified deficiencies with the Business Service Delivery owner to facilitate closure
  • Where required provide input to weekly / monthly Governance meetings with the GSC Operational Managers to discuss performance standards, ensuring these are documented within agreed timelines set
  • Liaise and work with Change Management and Project teams, understanding their requirements and their impact
  • Monitor Operational Readiness Sign Off and provision of onsite presence during implementation as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Exemplary stakeholder management skills, be highly confident in your approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
  • Be comfortable in working towards deadlines and meeting set SLA’s
  • Sound analytical skills, a technical mindset coupled with the ability to demonstrate forward thinking
  • Highly IT literate and confident with Excel
  • Knowledge of Investment Operations and/or relevant qualification would be beneficial but by no means essential

The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working out of HSBC offices in Edinburgh.
