We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Group Treasury Manager – IRRBB.

In this role, you will:

  • Main objective of the role is to establish monitoring and control over management of the IRRBB across the Group;
  • Understand and explain Group IRRBB metrics, impact on capital, contribution of the business line activities, MKTY risk management practices and the regulatory demands;
  • Role includes close working relationship with Holdings Debt Issuance and Capital teams. On behalf of Holdings Debt Issuance team this role provides analysis and assistance in producing NII forecast for AOP and monthly updates, Holdings repricing gap, NII and EVE sensitivities for internal and external reporting as well as hedging optimization;
  • Lead Strategic Hedging workstream under Group Treasury IBOR Project and other significant projects that initiated from time to time. Cross function collaboration between Group Treasury, MKTY, PC, Group Accounting Policy (GAP) and all lines of Business to provide Group wide strategy for ensuring banking book interest rate risk are well understood, managed and controlled.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Treasury experience;
  • Interest rate risk in banking book experience;
  • Banking experience;
  • Front office exposure;
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

The base location for this role is London and with a hybrid working pattern.
