Market Activation Lead, Wealth and Personal Banking

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Market Activation Lead who will work with closely with the Delivery, Product, Messaging and Commercialisation and Operational teams to ensure that all business readiness tasks including feature activation, operational impact assessment, internal and external communications (including Go To Market), training, pilot, migration and implementation tasks for example, relevant in-country regulatory approvals and broader governance tasks, are completed.

In this role you will

  • Be accountable from initial design through to ongoing feature enablement, providing strong delivery and product commercialisation capabilities in our target launch markets and supporting all business readiness activity.
  • Responsible for and accountable to both the Chief Commercial Officer and the Head of Delivery for defining Market Activation approach that is scalable and optimizes reuse across markets/products.
  • Responsible for process review following each customer activation to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to ensure these are implemented in future activations.
  • Accountability to leadership for spearheading market activation for UK, Europe and subsequently other western markets against enterprise level OKRs through leading feature enablement and ensuring local market benefits are realised.
  • Work in a collaborative environment as part of a cross-functional team (a.k.a. squad) grouping various skillets and disciplines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience gained within the Payments domain, ideally in UK and European market
  • Strong market understanding (macro-economic, regulatory and ideally fintech space) of UK and EU.
  • Experience within a large, matrix organisation and in managing successfully in challenging environments
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities and the ability to lead and influence.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
  • Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data-driven insights.
  • Ability to take a portfolio view and effectively manage multiple market deliveries whilst ensuring each project runs effectively.

The base location for this role is London
