HSBC Market & Securities Services (MSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services. Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.

Network Management & Market Intelligence team (N2MI) is a global shared service responsible for the recommendation to appoint, and subsequent monitoring of, the Group’s network of securities and cash agents, including both affiliated agents and third party agents.

This specific role is within the Management Information Analysis team, which entails managing and overseeing the data integrity of our Agent Bank relationship data, agent fee costs, management of reporting to our internal business stakeholders and supporting the systems used by the N2MI global team.

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: MIA Data Analyst

Working as part of the Management Information Analysis team, you will be responsible for the ongoing administration, support and functionality of two systems, one workflow, the other a data repository system.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Capturing invoice data; acting as a two-way focal point for invoice issue escalation between the offshore team and Agent Banks
  • Generating detailed reports for pricing reviews and business process improvement initiatives
  • Collating information and managing MI reporting to present to stakeholders within the business
  • Working with change delivery teams in developing and enhancing the systems

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position will have a demonstrated history of managing and interpreting large data sets.

You will possess strong attention to detail and Excel skills and be confident with numbers. Adept at navigating around various systems and tools, you will also be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders at all levels. Problem solving is key and experience of a system migration would be highly advantageous.

The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working at HSBC offices in London.
