Brand Marketing Manager JD Outdoor Group

Role Overview

  • Consistent delivery of the JD Outdoors facsias across all above the line marketing both nationally and regionally. These include, GO Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, Ultimate Outdoors and Fishing Republic.
  • Management of the Brand Funding program to support brand and own brand marketing program.
  • Management of the marketing budget for relevant activity across all fascias.
  • Managing the creative, messaging, media and campaign management of all National, Regional and Store Advertising to include: TV, Radio, Outdoor, Press & Digital
  • Working closely with the Branded Sales & Marketing teams, managing the JD Outdoor rate card, planning and securing funding and coordinating the relationships between brands and internal marketing teams
  • Working closely with the commercial/own brand teams to develop and execute marketing activity for own brand and branded ranges – ensuring their messages are delivered across all relevant channels
  • Maintaining all marketing calendars for all activities
  • Managing branded/media partnerships and sponsorships
  • Creating and managing the critical path for all activity within remit
  • Adhering to the brand guidelines in all marketing materials
  • Writing clear briefs for all material to ensure it meets business objectives
  • Sharing creative/campaign plans with the online team to drive consistency & create co-ordinated campaigns
  • Event management e.g. store openings
  • Ensuring all advertising copy, visual and audio is accurate and delivered on time and to all relevant parties
  • Assist & coordinate the TV advert production from creative proposal, production selection, Clearcast approval process to final edit
  • Creating and delivering the creative content for Radio, Outdoor, Press and Digital
  • Working closely with the Group Sales Partnership Manager to develop & execute the marketing activity to support the partnerships
  • Budget management for TV, Radio, Outdoor, Press, Digital, Store Support, Group Sales – across PO’s, invoicing, budget tracker
  • Delivering regional and store marketing support to launch new / re-location / refresh / High St stores to ensure targets are achieved during the first year
  • Creating, delivering & supporting a PR trading plan to support the marketing communications plan, product ranges and store re-furbishments/openings
  • Communicating campaigns & coverage to stores
  • Monitoring campaign & PR results, sharing with the team and building into future campaigns
  • Maintain guard files for all activity
