The ICB Control Projects Team

  • The Investment & Corporate Bank (ICB) Controls Projects team is based in Bournemouth, UK.
  • The team covers multiple key controls projects including:
    • CIB Personal Account Dealing (PAD) Oversight
    • Virtual Data Room control management
    • Managing client collaboration platform access
    • Negative Media and Reputation Risk monitoring
    • Represent ICB in key CIB and firmwide projects (e.g. PAD, client complaints, role based access, voice recording)
    • The team works closely with regional ICB control managers and other key stakeholders to bring improvements in the control environment and improve user experience for the ICB business

    The Role

    • This role will be based in Bournemouth and report to the ICB Control Projects team lead
    • The role will be specifically supporting the CIB Personal Account Dealing Oversight project, with potential to cover on other projects within the remit of the team
    • The role will require both collaboration and independent delivery based on the project
    • The role requires the individual to take ownership and responsibility for their delivery working with global stakeholders
    • The individual will have exposure to the heads of ICB Controls, ICB Control Projects, Compliance and other senior stakeholders

    Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Effective communication, both verbal and written
    • Ability to confidently liaise with senior management
    • Create succinct and informative presentation materials
    • Ability to interpret issues raised, prioritize and communicate to senior management
  • Solid technical abilities
    • Strong Excel & Power Point Skills required
    • Strong analytical & data management skills
    • Knowledge of Innovation Tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and Signavio would be beneficial
  • Productive partnership & collaboration building
    • Strong ability to work effectively across time zones and culture
    • Effective listener able to gauge true stakeholder feedback
    • Build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Understanding of the ICB or other CIB business preferred
    • Experience in the finance industry regulatory environment and impact on business strategy desirable
    • Experience in a controls related role preferred
