The Global Technology Product & Agility Office is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to plan, develop and implement its content strategy. The right candidate will leverage their digital marketing & content management experience to help transform how our product teams work to create a culture of empowerment, deliver more customer value, faster and drive customer satisfaction. This role will be focused on the people side of change helping our product teams navigate the change. It will also be focused on making the change simple to navigate as we change business processes, technology, job roles, organization structures, and our ways of working.

You will guide and carry out the Product & Agility Office’s content marketing strategy by publishing and promoting content that achieves the goals set out in the marketing strategy. You will facilitate ongoing content planning, manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative .

Responsibilities Includes But Not Limited To

  • Conduct User Research – conduct user research to help content creators understand our target audience better and decide what types of content to create and which topics to cover.
  • Prepare Content Marketing Plans – develop marketing plans informed by the overall content marketing strategy that define the exact goals for each initiative and identify how the content manager will achieve these goals with content.
  • Create Editorial Calendar – plan dates for creation, publication, and promotion on a content calendar enabling the Product & Agility Office to see at a glance what content is planned for the coming weeks and months.
  • Content Creation – establish & execute production workflows for content development, researching and writing content, sourcing photographs and illustrations to accompany written content, format content, and add meta information.
  • Editing & Ensuring Adherence to a Style Guide – ensure adherence to a common style guide, brand personality, writing styles, as well as making sure each piece of content is proofread and edited before publication.
  • Publishing & Promoting Content – publish and promote content to the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Content Performance Monitoring & Analysis – monitor and analyze published content performance to inform future marketing plans and provide intelligence for our overall marketing strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience developing content marketing strategies that support company goals
  • Proven experience creating content marketing plans that support strategy
  • Proven ability to distill complex information into easy to understand terms
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with user researchers and user experience
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, including the ability to follow schedules, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
  • Experience adhering to documented standards for brand and copy, including style, voice, and tone
  • Experience working in Agile environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) preferably in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field
  • Experience in leading digital content strategy
