The Day To Day Responsibilities Will Include

As an Executive Director in the Transfer Pricing team you will be involved in a number of different areas of Transfer Pricing planning and compliance for the JPMC Group, across different lines and business and either globally or with a regional focus.

  • Participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of JPMC’s transfer pricing policies for its numerous lines of business
  • Involvement and oversight in the preparation and maintenance of JPMC’s global transfer pricing documentation
  • Active involvement in the development, negotiation, and reporting requirements of APAs, MAPs and other proceedings
  • Building and reviewing comprehensive financial models that support transfer pricing analysis
  • Directly liaising and partnering with various business and finance teams and with other members of the global tax department to independently drive large-scale projects
  • Managing and working with outside advisers in the context of TP planning and compliance

In undertaking the role, the individual will have significant and varied interactions with other key stakeholders involved in Transfer Pricing, including TP Finance, the various lines of business, Product Control, and Legal Entity controllers, among others.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Banking experience and knowledge essential
  • Significant experience (8+ years) in technical and operational transfer pricing
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with an ability to undertake fast and effective analyses on large data sets and evaluate trends, outliers, exceptions, etc
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • A thorough understanding of transfer pricing principles and rules (OECD and some country-specific) and the associated transfer pricing compliance requirements
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across the organization and to secure and influence their collaboration with Corporate Tax
  • Ability to quickly understand complex businesses and products / transactions, and the associated commercial, regulatory and accounting aspects of these, and to be able to relate this to effective transfer pricing compliance and risk management
  • Previous experience working with cross functional groups in a high-speed environment and leading group-based projects from inception through execution, including through the tax reporting and compliance process
  • Strong organizational, leadership, people management and project management skills
  • Accountancy or Tax qualification preferred
