As a Vice President In The Transfer Pricing Team You Will Be Involved In a Number Of Different Areas Of Transfer Pricing Compliance For The JPMC Group, With a Specific Focus On The EMEA Region, Including

  • Preparation, analysis and review of transfer pricing registers for legal entities in the Group as the basis for the development of local file documentation
  • Preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation to meet OECD and local requirements across the jurisdictions in the EMEA region
  • Analysis of transfer pricing methods in relation to business lines and / or jurisdictions both from an operationalisation and risk management perspective
  • Development and maintenance of effective audit trail for both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the transfer pricing methods in scope for the EMEA region
  • Involvement in New Product and Change Management initiatives potentially impacting on the Group’s transfer pricing

The role will have coverage across all lines of business and all EMEA locations in the JPMC Group.

In undertaking the role, the individual will have significant and varied interactions with other key stakeholders involved in Transfer Pricing, including TP Finance, the business, Product Control, and Legal Entity controllers, among others.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Banking experience and knowledge essential
  • Significant experience in operational transfer pricing (whether from a Tax Department or Finance perspective)
  • Advanced Excel skills, with an ability to conduct detailed analyses on large data sets and evaluate trends, outliers, exceptions, etc
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills
  • A thorough understanding of general transfer pricing principles and the associated transfer pricing compliance requirements
  • Accountancy or Tax qualification preferred
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across the organization and to secure and influence their collaboration with Corporate Tax
  • Ability to quickly understand complex businesses and products / transactions, and the associated commercial, regulatory and accounting aspects of these, and to be able to relate this to effective transfer pricing compliance and risk management
