What You Can Expect
Our Asset Management business provides expert advice to clients who typically include financial advisors, institutions, retirement plans and individual investors. Our team manages a variety of investment strategies from fixed income and equity to real assets, helping build a leading global client franchise that delivers superior strategies and strong financial performance.
First-year Analysts in the Asset Management Analyst Programme participate in J.P. Morgan’s world-class training programme for four weeks in New York with colleagues from around the world. In addition to learning the basics of our business strategy and structure, you will hear from senior management, review finance and accounting principles, improve your technical skills, develop proficiency with our proprietary tools and participate in networking events.
About You
A strong interest in finance and asset management is essential, as are analytical and quantitative skills, flexibility, teamwork, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment. A well-rounded academic background is important – a United Kingdom 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in your undergraduate studies is preferred. You certainly don’t need a degree in Economics or Finance, but a good level of numeracy is required.
Additional Requirements Include
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects.
- An expected graduation date between date June 2023 – September 2023.
