EMEA LEC Innovation and Technology Governance Lead

Role Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity in a growing role which gives a significant opportunity to develop both the role and the individual. The role supports the EMEA LEC team Digital Agenda through the delivery of Intelligent Solutions. The role involves understanding relevant governance, supporting process & innovation design, delivery & sustainment with business stakeholders, delivering specific Intelligent Solutions Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Team lead for the Warsaw based EMEA LEC innovation team
  • Manage demand planning and the book of work for the EMEA LEC innovation team
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the firm to ensure any technology changes do not have an adverse effect on the EMEA LEC team deliveries
  • Work closely with reporting teams to ensure that opportunities for innovation and efficiencies are exploited
  • Maintain and improve the EMEA LEC IS Governance model
  • Manage the roll out of the EMEA LEC IS Governance model to a broader set of stakeholders across the CIB Controller community
  • Identify and assess new digital tools for use by the EMEA LEC team
  • Identify opportunities to scale up EMEA LEC solutions to a strategic level
  • Coordinate with technology teams to ensure that the innovation architecture is robust and that the EMEA LEC requirements are taken into account
  • Broaden the pool of innovators across the EMEALEC community

Role Requirements

  • An innovative and creative mindset with the ability to challenge existing ways of working/thinking
  • Demonstrable project management experience is essential
  • Consulting experience (internal or external) is highly desirable
  • Innovation and change management skills are essential
  • The role requires strong communication and organisation skills, an aptitude for learning new software platforms, an eye for process improvement, and a mindset to innovate / change
  • Possessing a ‘delivery mindset’ and comfortable taking ownership to ‘get things done’
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience delivering tactical change in a digital environment
  • Proficient in Confluence, Signavio & Excel, Tableau & Alteryx
  • Experience working with a range of software platforms, covering data preparation, analysis, and visualisation
  • Knowledge of applying information management and technology controls frameworks
  • Background in finance and reporting/controls is desirable
  • Conversant with concepts such as Software Development Life Cycle, Databasing and Data Management, and Process Design
