As an experienced Product Manager, you will be responsible to collaborate with individual teams, a whole product or product line. The Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will also focus on design thinking and prototyping process. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring the product supports the Global Technology’s overall strategy and goals.

The Product Manager will have a deep understanding of Product Life Cycle and a passion for continuous improvement. In this role you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional team members to ensure that our products amaze and delight our customers. You will also play a key role in building up the product discipline. Strong partnership and influencing skills are required as this role interfaces with various partners across geographies, functions and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept inception to sunset delivery, including business strategies, performance objectives and outcome based roadmaps
  • Advocating for, and deeply understanding, the needs of customers and understand value drivers
  • Overseeing and owning the overall of product development and delivery
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators for success
  • Partner with teams (product, engineering, technology, risk, compliance, operations, ..) to support Product offering and Roadmap, Client Engagement, Service Measurement and Continuous Improvement
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” internally in guiding product design and development
  • Conduct product discovery to identify and prioritize opportunities for product development that are in-line with desired business outcomes
  • Define product strategy and roadmap based on ongoing user, market and competitive analysis
  • Implements in accordance with the product vision and strategy
  • Prioritizes work for delivery teams relative to product roadmap
  • Oversees investment, posture, resourcing and funding
  • Conducts analysis to determine approach to fulfill customer and market needs
  • Leader in customer collaboration across all stages of work. Ensures customer needs are consistently met.
  • Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders in building consensus around common objectives
  • Perform product demos to customers
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Communicate with current and potential customers on a regular basis to understand their processes and needs-to translate those into new product requirements, understand needed changes over time, and help customers get the greatest value
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Inspiring teams to build products and services and technologies that will be backbone of technology at JPMC

  • Transform the organization to fully adopt modern product operating model

Required Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field , Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Working knowledge of product management techniques (e.g., product strategy development, customer engagement)
  • Knowledge of process modelling techniques (e.g., value stream mapping) and business value drivers
  • Experience identifying opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing delivery against a multi-year roadmap.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Participate in and /or lead the strategic direction, feature design, user interaction, requirements, and outcome based roadmap of one or more products and solutions.
  • Experience working with customers or stakeholders to understand and refine product needs at all stages of product development.
  • Understanding of financial management, such as investment processes, business case development, cost and recovery models
  • Demonstrated success in helping envision, design and bring products to completion
  • An analytical and metrics driven work style
  • Strong experience in prioritization, process and problem analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to provide strong technical and developmental guidance to team members.
  • Global management experience including proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization to accomplish target goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers
  • Experience in managing agile, cross-functional teams, often through influence

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Expert product manager focused on technology products is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of technology infrastructure products and solutions a plus
  • Industry standard Product Manager certification – Certified Product Manager (CPM) or New Product Development (NPD) professional certification a plus
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Master’s or MBA degree a plus
